It applies around the clock, not just while&nbsp;you\u2019re&nbsp;at work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"  \"> If you die, the AD&amp;D benefit is paid in addition to life insurance.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"  \">Benefits are only paid as the result of an accident, so evidence of insurability is never&nbsp;required.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"  \">The AD&amp;D benefit is paid to your beneficiary if you die.&nbsp;It\u2019s&nbsp;paid to you if&nbsp;you\u2019re&nbsp;seriously injured.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading mb-3\">Basic AD&amp;D insurance&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>AECOM automatically provides you with company-paid AD&amp;D insurance equal to one&nbsp;times&nbsp;your annual salary. Coverage reduces by 50% at age 65 and&nbsp;terminates&nbsp;when you retire.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading mb-3\">Optional AD&amp;D insurance&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You can buy optional AD&amp;D insurance for yourself, your&nbsp;spouse&nbsp;and your child(ren). The cost of AD&amp;D insurance is based on the level of coverage you choose. You can find costs on the AECOM Benefits Service Centre website.
