AECOM\u2019s STD and LTD insurance are administered by&nbsp;The Hartford.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AECOM provides basic STD coverage at no cost&nbsp;to employees. If you want LTD coverage, you can enroll in core or buy-up LTD coverage.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Short-Term Disability<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:9px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have a qualifying disability, benefits begin after 7 consecutive days and may continue up to&nbsp;26 weeks&nbsp;from the date of disability.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"  \">The STD benefit provides 100% of your base weekly earnings for up to&nbsp;6 weeks.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"  \">After&nbsp;6 weeks, the STD benefit provides 66.67% of your&nbsp;base&nbsp;weekly earnings for the&nbsp;remainder&nbsp;of the approved STD period.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading mb-3\">Core Long-Term Disability&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"  \">Pays&nbsp;60% of your base annual pay, up to $15,000 per month.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"  \">LTD benefits begin after&nbsp;180 days&nbsp;and may be payable up to your Social&nbsp;Security&nbsp;normal retirement age.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:23px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Buy-Up Long-Term&nbsp;Disability&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:17px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"  \">Pays&nbsp;66.67% of your base annual pay, up to $15,000 per month.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"  \">LTD benefits begin after&nbsp;180 days&nbsp;and may be payable up to your Social Security normal retirement age.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--50)\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Disability&nbsp;Insurance and Leave of Absence<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:9px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Disability insurance may run&nbsp;concurrently&nbsp;with a leave of absence. For example, when you file a STD claim, your eligibility for a leave of absence will&nbsp;also&nbsp;be reviewed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:23px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Disability Insurance and State Medical Leave Programs&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:14px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>STD Insurance is&nbsp;<strong>offset<\/strong>&nbsp;by what you anticipate receiving from your work state program (as applicable). To receive this offset amount, you need to open a claim with your work state:&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"  \">If you work in the state of New York or Hawaii,&nbsp;The Hartford&nbsp;will&nbsp;assist&nbsp;with processing the&nbsp;state&nbsp;claim.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"  \">If you work in the following states, you should also open a claim with your state\u2019s paid medical leave program.
