Going through a divorce or the end of a domestic partnership can be challenging. To help ensure your benefits information stays accurate and your coverage continues without interruption, please review the steps below and complete any required updates within the applicable timeframe.
Update Your Benefits (Within 31 Days)
- Remove your ex-spouse/domestic partner from your benefits (and make any other benefits updates) within 31 days of your divorce or domestic partnership end date.
- Log in and select the Change Your Coverage menu at the top of the homepage.
COBRA Coverage for Your Ex-Spouse/Domestic Partner
- Your ex-spouse or domestic partner may be eligible to continue coverage for up to 36 months under COBRA.
- After you remove them from your coverage, you’ll receive a COBRA enrollment packet from the AECOM Benefits Service Center.
- To preview COBRA options and costs:
- Log in to your personalized benefits account
- Select Change Your Coverage
- Choose Continuing Coverage Through COBRA
Submit Court-Issued Orders (If Applicable)
If you receive a court-issued qualified order or notice*, you must send it to the AECOM Benefits Service Center.
Submit documents online through the Qualified Order Center.
If an original court certification is required, mail it to:

The AECOM Benefits Service Center will review the order and issue a determination within 15 business days of receipt. All interested parties will be notified in writing via U.S. mail.
Update Your Personal Information
- Update your legal name, address, phone number, and/or email in Workday if any of this information has changed.
- Review and update your beneficiary information as needed.
*Includes a Qualified Medical Child Support Order (QMSCO), Qualified Domestic Relations Order (QDRO), National Medical Support Notice (NMSN), or National Support Notice RFI.
