The AECOM FTO policy is in the Employee Handbook. The following are key policy provisions and supplemental information including state and local safe/sick requirements.
Eligibility
Regular full-time and part-time, U.S. exempt DCS and Corporate employees.
Usage
The FTO policy encompasses vacation and other personal leaves as well as safe/sick leave. Depending on an employee’s work location, the Company complies with applicable state and local safe/sick leave requirements. To the extent state and local laws provide for greater safe/sick leave benefits than those set forth in the FTO policy, employees shall benefit from the more beneficial laws. For information and questions about safe/sick laws, please contact LOA@aecom.com.
Notice
FTO used for vacation and personal time is subject to manager approval and client workflow demands. Please refer to the handbook for scheduling requests. For FTO used pursuant to an applicable safe/sick law, no advanced approval is required but the employee must still notify the supervisor. If an absence is foreseeable, the employee should provide reasonable advanced notice of at least 7 days before the date the leave is to begin. If the absence is unforeseeable, the employee should notify the supervisor of the need to use the leave as soon as practicable.
