Choose benefits for the life you’re building
2027 Canada Benefits Open Enrolment is October 19 – November 6
Open Enrolment is your chance to review and update your benefit elections, so you’re ready to take care of yourself and your family in the year ahead.
- All of your current benefit elections will automatically carry over into 2027.
- If you’d like to make any changes to next year’s coverage, enrol by Friday, November 6, 2026.
- Benefit plans, coverage levels and employee contribution rates remain unchanged for 2027. AECOM will continue to fully cover Health Care Module A, which includes basic medical coverage with $0 employee contribution, a $1,000 deductible and no dental or vision coverage.
- If you take no action, your current benefit choices will continue through 2027, and your spending account allocation will automatically be directed to your Health Spending Account (HSA). To allocate funds to a Personal Spending Account (PSA), you must elect this during Open Enrolment. Money cannot be transferred between the accounts after November 6.

Important reminders
- Review your beneficiary designations. While updates can be made at any time, Open Enrolment is a good opportunity to ensure your information is current. For life and AD&D insurance, update beneficiaries through the enrolment website. Beneficiaries for each product under the AECOM Retirement and Savings Plan can be updated in your Sun Life account at mysunlife.ca/aecom.
- If you need to make changes after November 6, you can only change your health care module and long-term disability option during the year within 31 days of a qualifying life event (e.g., marriage, birth, adoption).
New hires
If you are a new hire who joined AECOM between November 6 and December 31, 2026, you must enrol twice:
- Within 31 days of hire, choose your benefits for 2026. Your coverage will be retroactive to your date of hire.
- After you elect your 2026 benefits, you will immediately be prompted to choose your 2027 benefits, and you will have one day to complete your enrolment.
There will be an enrolment blackout period from December 10, 2026 – January 3, 2027. As a new hire, if you have not enrolled as of December 10, you will have the opportunity to enrol beginning January 4, 2027, for both 2026 and 2027 benefits.
