Business Travel Accident and Medical Expense Benefit through CHUBB

The Business Travel Accident benefit pays a benefit to you or your beneficiary if you are seriously injured or die as a result of an accident while on international business travel. You also receive the following coverage:

• Travel medical benefits abroad
• Medical evacuations
• Repatriation of remains
• Accidental death & dismemberment insurance
• Loss/damage of personal property
• Trip cancellation/interruption protection

If you are injured or sick while traveling for business outside of your country of permanent residence or permanent work assignment, this benefit can provide payment for covered expenses incurred. This benefit does not replace your medical coverage — for example, if you are an employee on international assignment, your international health plan (e.g., Cigna) should be used first.
